A Stunning Conservatory Transformation

We recently paid a visit to a conservatory transformation we completed last year in Hawkshaw, Greater Manchester, and we just had to share the dramatic transformation that the Roof2Room team made to this dilapidated and tired conservatory with our Iconic Garden Room system.

The clients initially contacted us, as their old timber conservatory frame was rotting, resulting in leaks and them being unable to use and enjoy the room as intended. They were interested in upgrading their conservatory using our Iconic Garden Room, a full conservatory replacement system, comprising of a new fully insulated tiled conservatory roof, insulated structural columns and a-rated PVC frames and double glazing. The Iconic Garden Room is a cost-effective solution designed to transform conservatories, which are often freezing cold in winter and boiling hot in summer and so underutilised, into a comfortable and energy-efficient room that can be enjoyed all year round.

The property is a beautifully refurbished farmhouse in the picturesque village of Hawkshaw in Greater Manchester, so we knew that our Iconic Garden Room design would need to complement the existing property, whilst still being a modern addition. We carried out a detailed assessment of the existing conservatory and met with the clients to discuss ideas for their ideal conservatory transformation. They decided on our Anthracite Grey finish for the window frames and roofline, to match the aesthetic of the existing property, and Tapco Slate in Pewter Grey for the roof, as well as two Velux Roof Windows to the front elevation. A conservatory base was also agreed upon to accommodate a bi-folding door to the front elevation, enhancing the relationship between the internal space and the stunning location of their home.
